Through BRED’s gender justice work, 480 adolescents and youth received life-skills training and became active in preventing gender-based violence including child marriage.

These are programme-based stories rather than invented personal testimonies; each reflects an outcome or experience documented by BRED.
01Through BRED’s gender justice work, 480 adolescents and youth received life-skills training and became active in preventing gender-based violence including child marriage.
02BRED’s Women ICT Freelancer Entrepreneurship Development Project trained 240 youth and women across Pabna, Natore, Sirajganj, Rangamati, Bandarban and Khagrachari to build skills for entrepreneurship.
03BRED’s renewable energy and climate programme supported improved cookstoves, with about 1,500 households receiving Bondhu Chula to support cleaner household energy use and reduce emissions.
04The SRMNCAH programme works to strengthen community knowledge and capacity, improve local government responsiveness and connect communities with service providers and facilities.
05Education has been part of BRED’s development work since its inception. Its documented experience includes ten non-formal primary education centres supported by BRAC and continuing adult education through BRED’s own resources.
