BRED has been involved in safe migration promotion since 2012 and serves as the Secretariat of the Bangladesh Migration Forum. Its work includes awareness, training, networking and grassroots engagement to promote safer migration and contribute to anti-trafficking efforts.

Expanding renewable energy and lower-emission household practices.

Since 2010, BRED has worked on solar power in remote and char areas and has promoted Improved Cook Stoves, known locally as Bondhu Chula, alongside partnership-based renewable-energy delivery.
