Promotion of Gender Justice: Strengthening Engage Men and Boys Network for Reducing Violence against Women and Children in Bangladesh is being implemented with financial support of Amplify Change/BRAC for the period of From April 2019-April 2021 (Two Years) in 12 districts of Bangladesh
BRED has implemented the project titled, Awareness raising on child marriage issues to prevent violence against children funded by Ministry of Women and Child Affairs during the period of 2015-2016 in Natore, Pabna and Rangamati districts and created awareness on violence against children to prevent child marriage among govt.
BRED implemented the project namely Women ICT Freelancer and Entrepreneurship Development Project funded by SME Foundation, Prime Minister’s Office (A2i), MoWCA, GoB and , BWiT. BRED has implemented the project in six districts namely Pabna, Natore, Sirajganj, Rangamati, Bandarban and Khagrachari from May 2016 to June 2017.
BRED is a member of numerous networks/ networking organizations. It works in partnership with grassroots level local NGOs. BRED is the Secretariat of Bangladesh Migration Forum (BMF), a country wide forum of which there are members in every district.
Following five year plan of Bangladesh government as well as MDG & SDG goals, BRED has been working on solar power since 2010.
Education is the one of the core programs of BRED. Since its inception, BRED is concerned with education of children of Char areas in Pabna and Sirajganj districts.
In line with mandate of BRED, the organization has been working to uphold the rights of disable people. BRED has implemented the following projects on rights of disable people.
BRED is implementing Water supply and sanitation program in different projects areas. Social Mobilization for Safe Water and Environmental Sanitation Program.
The Vulnerable Women Benefit (VWB) Program was designed to support poor, disadvantaged, and vulnerable women in Bangladesh by improving their food security, livelihoods, income, and overall socioeconomic wellbeing.
