Children's feelings | শিশুদের অনুভূতি

Char went to conduct an FGD with 10–12-year-old children under GFC community leadership ARC initiative affiliated with Salt Project at Char Nakalia. There are many conversations with children while conducting FGDs. They are children but they also want to say something. I asked the children that what kind of problems are there in your area, can you tell me, they answered beautifully, brother, in our area, our sisters get married at a young age. I said why is she giving because it is the society's rule? They don't understand child marriage, they don't understand the evils of child marriage but they understand that because her sister is too young, this marriage should be avoided. They said brother, if we had grown up, we would have prevented this marriage when my sister was young. If this community does not think like children, many child marriages could be stopped.I asked them again that do you understand discrimination from among them 11-year-old Kausar said that we are boys and there is no rule for us to participate in girls' sports. We want to play with them, is it discrimination? I explained to them that this is also a kind of discrimination that is prevalent in this society.

These thoughts of children taught me a lot. In this community boys and girls have less opportunity to go to school, here they join work at a young age. Where the role of parents or society is very less. In fact, not all children will have the same social behavior. It's normal. It cannot be forced, only care should be taken so that the child does not become 'anti-social'. Does he understand the importance of socializing according to his age? Can you respect the feelings of others? Children keep pets in many homes, resulting in a combination of human feelings with animal feelings. In this, the child will grow up in an emotional environment and become caring and responsible.
