She has competed MSS in Sociology from Rajshahi University in 1982. At present she is serving as Professor at Govt. Edward College, Pabna. She also worked as Research Officer (Planning and Development) under Directorate of Secondary and Higher Education (DSHE) from 2003 to 2005. She also served as Assistant Divisional School Supervisor at ADB assisted Higher Education Project from 1997-1999. She is the Vice-Chairman of Bangladesh Rural Economic Development (BRED). She is contributing in education program the organization.

Mahamuda Parveen accomplished her B.A. Honors (in 1981) and M.A. (in 1982) in sociology from the University of Rajshahi, Bangladesh. She started her career as a lecturer (through BCS, Education Cadre # 00008757) in sociology at Rani Bhabani Govt. Mohila College, Natore, in 1989. She successfully promoted as Assistant Professor in 2005 and worked as Assistant Professor in Sociology at Home Economics College, Dhaka, and she got her promotion as Associate Professor Home Economics College, Dhaka in 2009. Afterward, she got promoted as a professor in 2013 and worked at Govt. Edward College, Pabna. In 2016, she retired from her position.
Meanwhile, she worked on the following development projects: Assistant Divisional School Supervisor at the Higher Secondary Education Project funded by the Asian Development Bank, Research Officer at the Directorate of Secondary and Higher Education (DSHE), and Research Officer (Planning and Development) at DSHE, respectively.
At present she is serving as the Vice-Chairman of Bangladesh Rural Economic Development (BRED), a national-level NGO of Bangladesh. She has been contributing to education policy support and strategic planning of education programs and projects for the organization.

Md. Shahidul Islam is the General Secretary of the Executive Committee of Bangladesh Rural Economic Development (BRED). At the same time, he is the Executive Director of the organization according to the Constitution. He has knowledge of multifarious development issues in Bangladesh as well as global context. He is experienced of working in development sector for about 20 years. He is serving Bangladesh Rural Economic Development (BRED) since 2005 as Executive Director. He has been facilitating in holding Annual General Meeting of the organization on regular basis. Under his leadership, the organization has made significant milestone serving the target group of people and achieving milestones by implementing a number of projects funded by Bangladesh government as well as other donor agencies. He maintains some strategies developing liaison and communication with key stakeholders i.e. government officials, departments, relevant ministries, private sector, other stakeholders of the project, volunteers, CSOs, CBOs and forming network and alliances on various issues. Under his leadership and having a good relationship with the ally organization, BRED has become Steering Committee member as well as general member of 20 National and Local Network and Alliances, among them MenEngage Bangladesh (EMB) is one of the prominent.

Dr. Sharif Ahmed Chowdhury has obtained his M.Phil and PhD from Jahangirnagar University. He has wide range of experience in university teaching, quantitative and qualitative research and evaluation in development area in Bangladesh. In his professional life he worked with different national, international, bilateral and donor agencies projects including US Embassy, British High Commission, FAO, Dhaka, Oxfam Bangladesh, BIPSS, Transparency International Bangladesh (TIB), JICA, BIDD, Shushilan, Asian University of Bangladesh and Gono University etc. as Co-investigator, Lead Researcher, Research Coordinator, Research fellow, Analyst, Research Associate, Study group member, faculty member etc. He accomplished number of studies independently. His recognition in the field of Governance, corruption, parliamentary affairs, women in development, multiple stakeholders’ involvement governance sector such as RMG sector, local level development is remarkable in the country. He has lots of publication including research report, books and articles in governance, women empowerment, health and nutrition, election, parliamentary affairs and security issues. Now, he has been serving as a Director Research in Bangladesh Institute of Democracy and Development (BIDD) and doing freelance consultancy services in development sector.

She has completed MSS from University of Dhaka. She is the Human Resource Development Secretary of BRED Executive Committee. She has more than 23 years of working experience in the development sector, with extensive knowledge gained in project management and training through partnership, across a diverse range of development themes including human rights, gender and its development, monitoring, advocacy, local government and social audit. She started her career with Proshika- a human development centre as Human Development Trainer in 1999. In addition she was engaged in Village Education Resource Center (VERC) and South Asia Partnership (SAP)-Bangladesh in different time in different role. During her extended professional period, she received some exclusive and significant training on different valuable issues i.e. Gender, Gender Based Violence, Advocacy, Capacity Building, Good governance, Human rights, Rights Based Approach, Project Management, Monitoring & Evaluation, Reporting & Documentation. Through these training and job experience she has gained extensive knowledge and skills which have made her capable to manage, coordinate and monitor training, staff and partner organizations including budget management and project monitoring and evaluation.

Over the years, he has amassed valuable experience by working in various corporate offices, garment factories, and reputed non-governmental organizations (NGOs). His professional journey has enabled him to develop a deep understanding of operational management, corporate practices, and the intricacies of NGO-driven development initiatives.
In addition to his professional commitments, he is actively involved in social activities both in Dhaka and his home district of Pabna. His community engagements focus on addressing local challenges and fostering development initiatives aimed at improving the lives of marginalized groups. His blend of technical expertise and social responsibility positions him as a dynamic contributor to both professional and community-oriented endeavors.

In addition to his role at BRED, Utpal serves as the Lab In-Charge at Rx Medical Center Ltd, Gulshan, Dhaka. He oversees laboratory operations, ensuring that diagnostic processes meet rigorous quality control standards and deliver accurate and reliable results. With a blend of technical expertise and managerial acumen, he has helped maintain the center's reputation for excellence in healthcare services. Utpal’s diverse responsibilities highlight his ability to balance leadership in both community development and healthcare, showcasing his dedication to creating a positive impact in multiple sectors.

She has completed Master of Arts in History from University of Dhaka. She is the Executive Member of the Executive Committee of Bangladesh Rural Economic Development (BRED). She has been working on development issues since 1993 as a mid and senior level management to support multi-disciplinary program team in NGOs. Gained experience and performed responsibilities in the areas of: Facilitation of Training, Manual Development, Monitoring and Evaluation, Field extension services, General administration, Program Management through Partnership with local NGOs, program planning and designing. She has working experience of about 28 years in development field. Working as an individual consultant she provided consultation services to different organizations and Institution like IPTM (Institute of Professional Training & Management), ICHD (Institute of Child & Human Development), Inner Power, CDD (Center for Disability in Development). She is expert in the area of Basic Nutrition, Primary Health Care, Water and Sanitation, Leadership Development, Good Governance, Disaster Management, Procurement and Financial management.

She completed her Higher Secondary Education at Govt. Azizul Haque College and has since dedicated herself to various social activities, with a particular focus on empowering women and advocating for their rights. Her passion for social work has driven her to assist marginalized and distressed individuals, helping them secure their rights and improve their living conditions. She has developed a strong capability in building networks and establishing effective liaison with government officials and other key stakeholders, which has played a crucial role in advancing her initiatives. Through these efforts, she has built a reputation for being a proactive advocate for the well-being of the underprivileged, especially women, in her community.
Currently, she serves as the Executive Director of Alor Dishari Mohila Unnayan Sangstha (ADMUS), where she plays a central role in leading and managing the organization’s projects. Under her leadership, ADMUS has implemented numerous development projects aimed at improving the living standards of deprived populations. These projects are funded through a combination of government resources, the organization’s own funds, and donations from local elites. Her hands-on approach and strong leadership have made a tangible impact in the lives of the people she serves, especially in areas related to women’s empowerment, community development, and poverty alleviation.
