‘Empowering Ethnic Youth for Change’ project implemented from January 2024 till January 2026. BRED will implement this project in collaboration with WE CAN Bangladesh, MJF and Christian Aid which is co-funded by European Union. The main goal of the project is empowering capacity of the Tribal people as actors-champion towards realization of socio-political rights. The objective of the project is ‘The overall objective of the project is to empower the Adibashi on land on their basic human and political rights, so that they can enjoy a better live a decent life and participate in decision-making as well as political process’.
More specifically the objectives are:
- Empowered community towards fulfillment of their Social and political Rights with sustainable commitment
- Enhance access to resource and entitlements holding duty-bearers to account for inclusive public services and responding to Tribal people’s demands
- Strengthen collaboration with academic and media institutions to create a congenial atmosphere for making the tribal peoples’ stories to the public.
- Develop capacity of the project staff towards effective implementation of the project.
